　　Main Application Areas

　　Pharmaceutical Field:

　　High-efficiency Solvent/Co-solvent: Due to its extremely low viscosity and superior solubility, it is the preferred "high-fluidity solvent" for injections (especially intravenous and small-volume injections) and oral liquids. It can rapidly dissolve fat-soluble drugs (such as steroids, vitamins, and antineoplastic agents), avoiding filling difficulties caused by high viscosity, and is particularly suitable for formulations requiring "rapid dispersion" (such as emergency injections).

　　Transdermal Absorption Enhancer: With a small molecular weight, it can more efficiently penetrate the skin's stratum corneum. It is often combined with PEG 300 in gels and patches to enhance the penetration efficiency of local drugs (such as antibiotics and analgesics).

　　Ointment/Cream Base Diluent: It can reduce the viscosity of high molecular weight PEG (such as PEG 4000) bases and adjust the "refreshing feel" (reducing stickiness) of formulations, making them suitable for application on delicate skin areas (such as the face and children's skin).

　　Daily Chemicals and Cosmetics:

　　Added as a "refreshing moisturizer" to skincare products (such as toners, refreshing lotions, and sunscreen sprays):

　　Due to good fluidity, it penetrates quickly after application with no sticky residue (superior to PEG 300/400), making it suitable for oily or combination skin;

　　It can dissolve active ingredients such as fragrances and plant extracts, preventing product separation while enhancing the hydration of the skin's stratum corneum.

　　Used in perfumes and makeup (such as foundation liquid) as a solvent to adjust texture and improve the spreadability and smoothness of the product.

　　Industrial Field:

　　Used as a "low-viscosity leveling agent" in coatings and inks to improve the uniformity and gloss of the coating (due to good fluidity, it easily fills fine voids);

　　Used in the textile industry as a "rapid penetrating softener" to accelerate the absorption of auxiliaries by fibers and enhance the smooth hand feel of fabrics;

　　Used in metal processing as a "high-efficiency lubricant"; because it easily and uniformly adheres to metal surfaces, it reduces mechanical friction (especially suitable for precision instrument processing)
